Legendary Crates are Ronopoly [Gold]‘s primary cosmetic loot system. They drop board piece skins — alternate tokens such as Fire, Snowman, and classic Monopoly-inspired pieces — that you equip on the main menu before joining matches. Crates arrive from promo codes, event rewards, and occasional Robux offers. Nothing inside a crate changes rent, dice odds, or win conditions; the value is collection, flex, and player trading documented in our Board Piece Tier List.

Where to get Legendary Crates

Promo codes — Redeem strings like DISCORD and LEGEND on the Codes page via Loot Boxes → Enter Code.

Events & milestones — Late Shift Games drops codes on Discord and social channels during updates; watch Official Links.

Post-match rewards — Occasional login or event grants; verify patch notes on Updates hub.

Crates stack in your inventory until opened — open them between matches so you do not miss auction timers mid-game.

How to open crates

1. Return to the main menu (not inside an active board).
2. Click the orange Loot Boxes button.
3. Select unopened Legendary Crates from inventory.
4. Confirm opening animation — rewards roll from the current loot table.
5. Equip your favorite piece before re-queuing.

Duplicate pulls are common after mass code redemptions — use duplicates as trade fodder toward higher tier pieces.

Equipping board pieces

After opening:

• Navigate to the collection / equip tab inside Loot Boxes.
• Preview pieces on a board dummy if available.
• Confirm equip — your token model updates next match.

Pieces persist account-wide. Switch freely between lobbies unless a future patch adds match-locked cosmetics (none documented now).

What crates can contain

Typical loot pools include:

• Rare and Legendary board piece skins
• Profile flair or emote analogs (when enabled in patch)
• Duplicate commons used for trade currency

Crates do not contain Bux, property deeds, or Game Passes. Anyone promising those via fake generators is scamming — ignore them.

Trading cosmetics
