Ronopoly Controls Guide

Ronopoly [Gold] is a UI-heavy board game: buying deeds, bidding in auctions, building servers, and trading all happen through menus layered on the 3D board. Late Shift Games supports Xbox and broader console play, but the control scheme differs sharply from PC. This guide documents every input method so you never lose a turn timing out in an auction or fail to redeem codes from the wrong screen.

Complete one practice match using Getting Started while referencing this page — muscle memory matters more here than in action Roblox titles.

PC controls (keyboard & mouse)

On desktop, Ronopoly uses standard Roblox mouse interaction:

Tip: Pin the Roblox window to 1080p or higher. Auction timers are small on 1366×768 laptops.

Mobile & tablet controls

Touch controls mirror PC clicks:

• Tap prompts instead of clicking.
• Pinch to zoom the board during long matches.
• Use the on-screen keyboard for auction bids and code redemption.

Mobile players report mis-taps during fast auctions — increase tap delay in Roblox settings if you fat-finger bids.

Xbox / console controls

The Roblox game description and developer forum tutorial document console support explicitly. You must enable the virtual mouse — the board UI is not fully navigable with face buttons alone.

After enabling virtual mouse, treat the controller like a slow mouse. Auctions are the hardest part — pre-plan your max bid on paper or phone notes so you only navigate numbers once.

Turn flow reminders

1. Wait for the turn banner — rolling early does nothing.
2. Resolve deed popups before opening trade windows (popups block input).
3. End turn only after builds and trades finish — there is no undo.

If you jail yourself via card, you can still open trade UI during jail turns using the same controls above.

UI screens outside matches

Several features live only on the lobby/main menu:

• Loot Boxes & code redemption — see Codes.
• Cosmetic equip — Skins and Crates.
• Game Pass prompts — Game Passes.

Joining a match locks you out of these until the game ends.

Accessibility and performance

• Lower Roblox graphics quality if frame drops cause missed auction timers.
• Enable Roblox Reduced Motion if dice animations distract during precision bidding.
• Full-screen borderless window on PC reduces accidental tab-out during trades.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Fix
Cannot click deed buttons on Xbox	Press Select to toggle virtual mouse; use thumbstick + A.
Auction bid will not submit	Ensure keyboard focus is in the number field; on console re-open virtual mouse.
Stuck after trade	Both players must press Accept; check for mortgaged deed errors.
Codes greyed out	You are inside a match — return to main menu.
